Iphoto sort manually greyed out

The fact is that being able to sort other than Date Added in the All Photos window is not possible. You can’t manually sort pictures in Events. They have to be sorted by time, title, keyword or rating. But you definitely can sort your albums. Just go to the album and make sure manual sort is on (View, Sort Photos). Then you can drag them around to change their order. I am unable to sort my photos manually.
